Nathalie Picqué is awarded the 2007 Bronze medal of CNRS in the field "Optics and Lasers, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Hot plasmas"

A permanent assistant professor position (maître de conférences) will be available in our group.  Application deadline will be in spring 2008. The successful candidate will undertake research on "Lasers and Ultrasensitive Gas Phase Spectroscopy". He/she  will also have to teach physics (in french) at the Paris-Sud University.

Irina T. Sorokina et Evgeni Sorokin, our colleagues from the Technical University of Vienna, Austria, came with their Cr2+ZnSe et Cr2+ZnS lasers to run intracavity spectroscopy experiments
